Well, I'm bored today and I'm looking for a good debate. State which side of the fence you're on and why, and let's see if we can get a good conversation started. Nothing is off-limits to say unless you just want to be a troll and flame someone. If you wish to do that, go here.

My favorite scene was when that cute little bugger in the storage closet revealed his true, evil nature.

But that's just my opinion.

You must be running out of pictures to post. :)

I'm for evolution. The whole Adam and Eve thing never made sense to me.

And I know it's not really related, but since you and imny were going back and forth in the other thread, I started questioning religion back when I found out Santa and the Easter Bunny weren't real. It's really a mind f**k for children (or at least it was for me) to try and get us to believe in all these imaginary people, only to then say, well, those aren't real, but these still are.

Sorry, once the foundation cracked, that was it.

Note, I'm still somewhat spiritual, though that has decreased in the last few years, but I can't claim one religion is right, or knows more than the others. Spirituality is more a personal thing to me.

Evolution, eh? Being the atheist I am, I wholly support Darwin's theory of natural selection and evolution. There's mountains of evidence for it. And evidence seems good to base an ideology on.

Not only that, but the Bible is just...stupid. Genesis chapters one and two offer contradictory tales of creation. And from then on, it just gets weirder and weirder (plants created before the sun, for example).

I never had wisdom teeth - I am so evolved!

I'm sorry that you're all jealous about not being as evolved as me.

Ha! I've got three nipples!

Bow to my evolutionary greatness!!

Ok, so the extra is a baby nipple, apparently it's common, and well, completely useless....but still, I am so far ahead of you all.

It's insane to deny that evolution exists.

I think we've established that "ka-kaw ka-kaw" and "tookie tookie" don't work.

So only the third one is useless? What do you use the other 2 for?

In favor of logic, here.

If people seek to deny evolution, and survival of the fittest, just look at the humble dandelion.

Every year, all year, they sprout out the ground, and every year they grow more hardy to modern weathers and weed killers. Adaptation is a form of evolution.

P.S I think my pic kind of shows my stance :P

Tweaking, including but not limited to titty twisters. What else would you use nipples for?? Geeze.

Edit: Actually, I've gotten past the titty twister stage. Now they are purely for sexual pleasure...and pain. ;)

i believe in evolution to, as there is evidence for it! then again i believe in some things where there is not any 100% evidence. however, i believe in evolution and not adam and eve because both cant be true, and only one has lots of physical evidence, thus i believe it!

It's a part of evolution, along with replication, variation, and selection.

When are you going to freaking put 'Dave' inside of that fish? Do you not know how much cooler you would look?

Oooooh, I'm taking that bait.

The problem with Darwin's theory of evolution is that it is a contradiction in itself.

Evolution dictates that species should ensure that only the fittest and most adapted survive and procreate, with unfit species going extinct. According to this, we'd expect to see a streamlining of species, so to speak.

This directly contradicts the 'explosion of life' we've seen on this planet since the earliest Cambrian. We have seen incredible diversity in species, with diversity still increasing though natural selection indicates we should see less of this surviving.

The theory of evolution is indeed full of holes.

Yes, evolution says that those fit for survival will successfully reproduce. Nothing indicates that there is one body/behavior plan that is best suited for any habitat/climate. Diversity and variety are the results of evolution seeking to fill all the available niches.
