Why humans can't navigate out of a paper bag
Why humans can't navigate out of a paper bag
THE journey seemed simple enough, on the map anyway. Allison Fine left her home to drive to Vermont, just a few hours north on a major highway. She had studied the route and had a GPS gadget to help her. Nevertheless, she soon had absolutely no idea where she was. picked by nateebiinature 3 months ago

I get lost when roads don't go where I want them to. For example, I'll take a road because I know the place I want to be is in the direction the road is going at the point of interception, and then the road dead ends or turns.

I ALWAYS know where north is. I get physically ill if I'm disoriented by spins and turns and can't tell that.

I don't understand how someone could not realize they'd been wormholed, even in a virtual setting.

M dad travels a lot. He is amazing with directions and such. Its like he has a map etched onto the inside of his skull. I'm not so good, I haven't gotten completely lost yet but very often confused.

I always get this feeling that I missed my turn and I freak myself out. Hopefully it will get better with time. Either that or ill just get a TomTom
