Whenever something doomsday comes up I always think of this old Jonathan Katz joke from his stand-up(and I paraphrase):
He chats up a burly construction worker at a coffee shop:
Katz: What would you do if you knew the world was going to end and you only had a few moments left to live?
Guy: I would f**k anything that moves. What would you do?
Katz: Try to remain perfectly still.
